Is there a clean way to operate between a regular volume and a heightfield volume? I'm having issues with the swizzeling where the heightfield volumes have Z as its up axis and the regular volume has Y as its up axis.
It's fuzzy to me when this is compensated for and when not. Can I use volumesample() with points on a hf volume? Does caluclating a gradient (volume analysis) work normally on a heightfield volume?
Is there a SOP to convert back and forth between the different up axis? Like a volume transpose…?
