HDA defaults

It seems whatever values I have when I first create an HDA stick, I'm trying to find a way to change default values on an HDA once it's created, what I'm I missing? Thanks!

In the Type Properties window for your HDA, select the parameter and go to Parameter Description > Channels. The default value is stored there.

It seems that 'Make Current Value default' doesn't work on "Key Value dictionary" parameters.
The dictionary won't be saved and as the user hits "Restore Defaults" it will be deleted..

I am looking to set a default for Key-Value Dictionary also. Shame the Make Current Value Default doesn't work. How would I represent the data in the Parameter Description > Channels window? (I haven't been able to figure it out or find anything about it yet - I was hoping Make Current Value Default would do it )

+1 on this. I tried using {foo:bar} and {"foo":"bar"}. Neither worked.
Is there a way to apply defaults? for Key-Value Dictionary?
