hiya guys,

after trying to bake with game dev simple baker it gave me some errors, similar to the errors in this topic:

i'm sure this hasn't anything do do with aprentice license because it happens at my friend's fx studio to and he has a payed license.

but thats not the problem anymore.

i was at the point of reinstalling houdini until i found out i had an older game dev toolset, so i updated it from inside houdini. after that i couldn't start houdini anymore giving me errors:

ERROR: Couldn't open resource file “resources” (No such file or directory)
Qt Warn: QFSFileEngine:pen: No file name specified
Could not initialize the help server:

File “<stdin>”, line 1, in <module>
ImportError: No module named houdinihelp

ERROR: Couldn't find ‘SI_ColorEditor.ui’ for reading. Looked in:
CUsers/anous/AppData/Roaming/SideFX/GameDevToolset/16.5/1.110/config/Applications

so i completely removed houdini, did a fast reinstall. still same error.

i deleted houdini again, including every folder and file i could find, emptied my whole registry with everyting named sidefx or houdini.

installed houdini again and still giving me the same error about not finding a coloreditor.ui and searching in a gamedevtoolset folder. i'm so lost, can someone help me…. i'm at the point of reinstalling windows.
