Hi. I have a problem with tangled seam constraints in Vellum. I'm trying to attach a sleeve to a T-shirt. The shirt itself is a result of draping I've done earlier. The sleeve was initially a bent planar patch that I draped in such way that its top and bottom seams are now welded together forming a tube. I applied vellumpostprocess (to weld overlapping points) and clean (to remove all groups and attributes) on both meshes. Now I want to connect the T-shirt with a sleeve.

Point count of both seams is the same (28), but point order causes entanglement that cannot be resolved by tweaking Cycle dial or toggling Reverse flag. I tried sorting points of both meshes using all available algorithms in the Sort SOP, but the result was never perfect.

What else can I do to resolve this problem?

Okay, for the time being I worked around the issue by taking advantage of manual point selection done in appropriate order. However, it would still be better to use point groups, so this question remains open.
