It is possible but it is simpler with vex I think. There is need to scale objects based on primitives bbox.

creep sop should do job. It works for parametric surfaces.

with vex and bunch of sops, you can do anything in houdini!

Hi! the creep op works well, but is there a way to be more close to the mesh face deformation itself? I mean something more similar to the example.
