Hi Everyone,

I can't seem to find how to actually que up jobs withe Scheduler / Render Manager.

I'm setting up a few Vellum I/O to Save to Disk in Background, however it only seems to only run these jobs in Parallel, and not Sequentially.

Is there any way to make these jobs run one after the other automatically, And not all at once?

Thanks for any help!

You can use a fetch, or geometry nodes sequentially, or with a merge in the /out context.
Then you can select to render each node sequentially. Basically one node at a time.
When you sen to render in the background it basically opens an hbatch process and runs it inmediatly.
I find it more convenient to create a merge node and then render that node.
Check out your /out context nodes it is full of goodies.

Hi Nicolas, thanks for the reply. This would only work within the context of a single file though. Do you know if there is any way to que up from different files?

Yes…there are diferent ways. I basically have a command file I run through the houdini command tool with hbatch. You can search hbatch here in the forums mt answer will popup. Otherwise just let me know I will share more details here.
