I made a heightfield digital asset and imported it into Unity.
After I pressed “Play” or “Bake GameObject”, it turned into like that:
It seems like that Houdini only makes virtual “Terrain Layers” but not saving it to disk. Unity version:2018.3.6f1 Houdini version:17.0.511 Could anybody help me?
This seems to be a regression introduced with Unity 2018.3's new terrain, when created dynamically and saving the TerrainData to a file. I'll investigate further and get back to you.
