for instance I have a box .5 x .5 x .5, make some changes in geometry and sometime Houdini changes it to .49999999999 no matter how many times I change it back to .5 it reverts to .4999. I am OCD so this kinda gets my attention, I can kinda deal with it but prefer the exact input I give.

I think you can just left click “scale” or whatever parameter is having this in your node. Then it should display it again as .5
