HI GUYS

I've a student just started learning houdini, currently im exploring the pyro function on houdini 17, and one thing i cannot get it right is that my pyro end up looking alot better in the scene view then the render view.

anyone have any tips on what and how to do to make my pyro looks more like the one in scene view?

more is there some critical adjustment in the fireball material that i've miss out?

thankss!

The bottom one looks better, the top looks like from some game; unless that is what you want ?

Try to play with the final density scale. It appears like the volume have more density in the black part of the pyro sim. Could be the emission because as you can see your emitter sphere is black in thr render image instead bright yellow/orange. Another thing could help you: use the temperature as emission field.

Let me know if you can fix it, and thanks for share
