Problem With Extruded Logo Texture

Hello, thanks for tips in advance.

What i was trying to do is convert 2d logo to 3d and add texture…and create a further scene.

trace ( the logo) - divide - polyextrude - quickshade - material

object caps didnt work well after aplying texture. shape distorted,corners beveled.
what can i add so the shape doesnt distorts and its stays sharp as it is ?

i applied normal node. it kind of gave the shape i need and side texture looks good. but caps not texturing right.

You should freeze the trace nodes. They reference a file that is just on your computer. Personally, asking for a good 3D extrusion from tracing a jpg file is very optimistic.

Funny. I followed the internet instructions. Should it try PSD or there is option to import AI?
