Auto Rig problem

Why does the bone position drift from the original position after pressing generate rig? Any solution to this?

yep thanks

there seems to be a slight miss-match for the roots of the fingers - but not the thumb
I'll look into this later today

for a temp fix you can go into the built rig and adjust the nulls called L_Hand_iksplayfan1 etc
temporarily remove the expressions for rx and ry
rotate that null until it lines up with the original position, clean the transforms, then put the expressions back

the alignment issue have been fixed in Houdini 17.5.354


you can add FK controls to the fingers yourself - have a look at the Rigging Series:
