Hi, I am still new to Houdini and have started creating Terrains and Mountains using the Terrain Heightfield Tools. I've watched the excellent tutorials from Ari Denesh, and just wanted to know if anyone knew how real World scale works with Heightfield terrains made in Houdini. How do we make mountains that are specific heights, or terrains that cover a specific distance in square Kilometers like you can in World Machine?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks.

It's under Houdini Preferences, Hip File Options.
1 Houdini unit equals 1 meter, by default. Set your Terrain sizes accordingly.
The default shelf tool that generates the Hills comes in at one thousand square meters.
