Explored quite a few setups but before I make assumptions wanted to get feedback from those more experienced
If you have a single piece of non-deforming geometry that has to collide with moving smoke there are 2 main options in how you construct the sim using a Smoke or Pyro Solver.
1) If the geometry is also static you would feed it into a Static Object DOP followed by a Static Solver DOP and then merge this AFTER the Smoke or Pyro Solver.
or
2) If the geometry is moving and or rotating you would source it as VDB using a Source Volume DOP with Initialize set to Collision. This in turn is then fed into your Smoke or Pyro Solver.
Am I correct?
