It seems the first few times using a connectivity node in a project or on a SOP, it will name each connected pieces in order starting at 0…. then after a few times, im getting completely random numbers, sometimes even in the 100s for geometry with only a few pieces.

is there a way to “reset” the connectivity sop to name them in order starting from 0 (or a specified number?)

or, for example, is there a way to tell a blast node to delete a geometry shell/element/3d connected piece with a certain expression in the group input of the blast node?

or is the only way to address 3d connectivity by selecting the “island” in the group/attribute list with the scripted select, having it all converted to point/prim/edge id's respectively?

i suppose i could collapse a for-each loop by connectivity set to single pass, into a subnet, as a work around for a cleaner node graph.

thank you.
