I am trying to find where I am supposed to report issues for nightly builds of Houdini?

My project I am working on works fine up to v18.356, but with 357 and 358 when I go to open it, it just crashes and closes before the window even comes up.

At the top of the site, Support > Report a Bug/RFE.
You may want to try setting your scene update mode to Manual before loading this scene (lower-right corner of Houdini UI). That might give you a chance to diagnose things a bit if there is a particular node cook that's causing the crash.

I appreciate the reply. I saw that tip in a video I watched the other day and so I did indeed try that, but it still crashed just the same, unfortunately.

Are you using redshift by any chance ?

Can you open it non-graphically? Open a shell, type “hscript hipname.hip”. Does it crash then? If not, it's probably graphics related. You can try “mwrite -i” to increment and save and then try to re-open.
