Hi there! Im quite new to Houdini, and encountered a little problem. Im trying to achieve a smoke sim inside of a “glass” sphere. Now, it took me around 2-3 Hours to Cache the sim, and i see lots of smoke coming out of the Sphere containing the Emitter.

I have the Collison Volume Divisions at 230. They look quite dense. Not dense enough? Could it be that my Substeps are not high enough in the Pyro solver? I havent tried that yet, since it takes so much time to cache.
Any ideas? And any tips on how i could reduce the Cache time?

I have the hiplc file attached, and a Video showing the Sim:

Thanks for your help! Its very much appreciated.

Don't merge the StaticObject with the SmokeObject. The SmokeObject connects to the pyrosolver and the StaticOBject is merged in after that.
