Problem with the fluid: strange bumpy polygons

Try choosing a different value for the Adaptivity field on the ParticleFluidSurface node. Or set it to zero. Maybe tweak the isooffset negative just a touch..?
Using Houdini Indie 20.0
Ubuntu 64GB Ryzen 16 core.

yeah, decreasing the adaptivity was a solution, thank you man!

Try sampling the normal from the gradient of the sdf used to build the surface.
