I've been practicing random procedural modeling examples, sometimes with a little use of POPs. I know @pscale defines the radius of particles but this concept confuses me by its function in some sims. Sometimes a sim works fine without defining any @pscale and sometimes not for other sims. I know the question is a bit vague but I don't know how to even start… I hope these two hip files can clarify enough what I wonder.
In sticky_objects_v0.hip there's no pscale setup but works without any problem and in rope_dynamics.hip the sim doesn't work properly if there's not appropriate @pscale setup. I think these two examples are similar since the former uses pointdeform sop with pop grains and the latter uses wiredeform sop with pop grains.
