Animations to Unity?

Hi. Could someone please clarify the current workflow for getting animations from Houdini to Unity? I see old tutorials on here that mention animation settings in the Houdini plugin but I'm not seeing those in the current version. I'm able to export FBX files with animations in them, but if I have something that changes point counts or something it wont import into Unity correctly.

If it changes point counts FBX is unable to export it from what I know, no matter from which software you want to export it. You can change to the alembic format or make use of the texture sheet animation (https://www.sidefx.com/tutorials/game-tools-vertex-animation-textures/) if you want your topology to change during animation.

If you pick alembic make sure to add the corresponding package to you unity project.
