Hello,
Checking the documentation, I was trying to learn about constraints and rig vop. For some reason I cannot use the Rig Attribute VOP.
As soon as I add any KineFX node, I got an error;
Error
Vex error: No name given.

I cannot find the solution in the docs. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks
Jose

It's hard to say without seeing an example file.

I following the example from docs, trying to use the transform from path vop.

As soon as I wire any node, I got the error…
Thank you

well if you just go load the CurveSolverVop sample file, you'll see they use the name node, which is right up your alley.

No, I don't know nothin' just pointing you the way, is all.

Hello Jose, try putting a Rig Doctor on the right side.
You can also go to the Rig Attrib Vop Rig Tab and uncheck the Compute Input transforms for the second input.

Regardless, the error message needs work.

We just published 3 tutorials about the Rig Attribute VOP example files.

Here's an updated file with the Transform from Path properly hooked up.
Also, to get out of the error, you need to click the Force Compile button on the Rig Attrib VOP node.

There were also some problems with setting the wrong point number too. So I took a stab at making the 2 point line animate on the curve from your hip file.

EDIT: Guillaume beat to an example!

I've been having problems with this too. Once the VOP throws an error (e.g. No name given) I can't get the error to go away even if I set it up properly. Clicking Force Compile doesn't work. The only thing I've found that works is cutting and pasting the VOP back into place.

Hello yes, still having this issue in 19.0.531, toggling the "controls input" on the curve solver vop, deactivating transforms for input 2 and pressing "force recompile" on the rig attribute vop sometimes fixes it.
