I need to make a digital asset with convex hull block design, like the for-loop and compile-block nodes.
The workflow expects the user to add a set of arbitrary nodes between the Begin and End blocks, and then begin another cycle, with possibly dozen of otls laid down.
So I need the convex hull design for my Digital Asset just for visual aid, to keep things tidy and organized.
Do you know any hack to implement it, maybe hijacking the compiled-blocks nodes?
Thanks…
ps. I had submitted an RFE ( #98107 ) more than 1 year ago, but I doubt they will ever consider it, since it's very special case of UI feature..
Any hack to make an OTL with convex hull block design?

Take a look at the SOP Solvers like Vellum or RBD. They have a "dive target" where the user can dive into the HDA and pop down their own nodes.
Would that workflow be a good option for you?
