Vertex Wrangle ad-hoc group doesn't work?

I can't make the ad-hoc group @attribute=value in the Group parameter of a Vertex Wrangle work. But I can in a Point Wrangle. Is this a known issue? Am I missing something or it's RFE time?

Thanks

Group type "guess from group" only works for explicit groups, or it assumes a point group for ad-hoc groups on wrangles.

Explicitly select 'vertex group' and it should work.

Appreciate the suggestion, @jsmack, helps to create a better report. Unfortunately setting the group to be explicitly of Vertices doesn't work as seen in the image. @foo is not even created.

RFE filed.

Thanks

on top of what jsmack said...
you're maybe missing an equal sign, in your Group param'? :

it should be @bar==1, not @bar=1

The syntax for @atribute=value is with a single equal sign:

I did try == just to check and all the outputs from points, prims, vertices are the same.

Cheers
