HDA Path and Houdini Engine for Unreal

I noticed that if you save an HDA in unreal that has a path mapping using environment variables, and then open the level on a different machine where the path mappings differ that unreal uses the saved path for the HDA on the original machine. Is there a way to make sure that unreal updates the HDA path on level open rather than having to manually rebuild or reimport the HDA instance? I'm using V1 of Houdini Engine. Has this been fixed in V2?
