hi

i'm trying to get cloth to collide with dynamic wires and visa versa, but i'm not having to much luck.

anyone done this? any ideas?

Wires only receive collisions. They don't impart collisions except to other wires.

In order to collide cloth with ribbons, you have to build little cloth ribbons or use rbd chains to do this.
