After remeshing an object, the P attribute shows -nan(ind). I tried to compute normal and the same thing happened to N. How do I fix that?

Did you use Remesh Sop ?
Sometimes it could produce zero area primitives and these NaN values might be related to it.
It might be a bug, or even something related to the source geometry.

I would like to see an example file showcasing your issue.
Could you upload the file, please?

I had a look, but It's not clear where the error is occurring.
Which node is causing problems?

I wrote a commet. It's the remesh2 sop near "Try to deleting weird points". That node shows weird P attributes. And if you add a normal sop, the same thing will happen to N.

That's weird, I can't find any Remesh Sop node in any of the geometry object in your project file.
I even used to the Find Tool, but no success in locating it.

ps, have a look at the changelog for 12 Nov:
Remesh Sop was updated and some NaNs related bugs fixed in 19.0.437
https://www.sidefx.com/changelog/?journal=19.0&categories=&body=remesh&version=19.0&build_0=383&build_1=455&show_versions=on&show_compatibility=on&items_per_page= [www.sidefx.com]

One tip: for heavy remeshing tasks, you can really save a lot of cooking time by using the multithreaded Fast Remesh Sop

it's ok, I converted it into vdb and converted back, It should work.
I'll upload my hip file again if you still want to figure out the problem.

And thanks for introducing fast remesh!
