Hello;

I have the Indie version of Houdini that I purchased on Steam. Yesterday I wanted to render a simple animation on a scene by installing Redshift. But it gave a warning like "Fatal Error: Segmentation Fault" and closed. Render preview appears in IPR and Render Viewer, no problem, but when I press Render to Disk or Render to Mplay buttons, Crash occurs.

I downloaded an older version of redshift from Maxon.net and it still gave the same error. I haven't been able to test it either, as I don't know a formula to pull houdini to older versions on Steam. Does anyone have a similar problem and know a solution? Thank you.

System: i7-4790 GTX 1050ti 16GB Ram
Houdini Indie Steam Edition 19.5.368 - Py3.9
Redshift 3.5.7-3.5.8

I have the same problem and tried the same steps to fix it. No luck yet

I just installed the previous production build (19.5.303) from here:

and this seems to have fixed the problem.
I assume if you do the same your Steam license should still be able to work
