I was wondering how to change the default frame rate of 24 fps ?

When I adjust it in the Global Animation Options, and hit "save as default", it's back to 24 when I create a new scene.

I figured there must be some secret trickery to do this ?

hm, strange, it works for me. make sure to press apply FPS and then Save as default.
