Hello,
i want to model gameassets in Houdini. And i practice to model some walls and pillars with destruction of age on it. So i converted the pillar in a vdb and made some holes and destructions with noises on that. Now i wanted to make the noise work only on the edges. I know the mask feature with the fog vdb, but this is not very intuitive. Is there a possibility to mask the edged like the measure-node with curvature?

Hi,

You can use VDB Analysis SOP, which has curvature and other operators:

Hm, ok, i don´t understand this tool. When i pipe in the analysisnode, i get a open pillar, with small edges. How do i use this now? And its too small, how can i expend the edges?
