Hi Guys,

I was trying to build reference from different USD file, where I found the reference node and asset reference node both do the same thing but the asset reference give me different orientation of assets.

What is exactly the differences between these two nodes?
Thanks a lot

The Asset Reference node is just a convenient wrapper around the vanilla Reference, Set Variant, and Transform LOPs. Often when referencing assets, you want to position them and/or make variant selections. This saves you from having to create multiple nodes to do these tasks.

Maybe the asset reference node should update to the newest reference node version?
