Hello all,

I run an art lab and I'm trying to get my 2 licenses of Houdini master up and running on floating licenses. I've installed Houdini on the machine which will serve as the image for the rest of the PCs and I'm coming up with this error:

“Error: couldn't open resource file: ”./resources" {permission denied}

The machine sees the license server, and this only happens when a standard user account executes the program. This doesn't happen when I log in locally as admin. But it will error with both local and domain level user accounts. I have tried setting permissions on the C:\programfiles\houdini folder to allow read/write for users but this did not solve the problem. Does anyone know what folder/files Houdini is trying to gain access to here?

Thanks in advance!

Since you have Master licenses, you might want to e-mail support@sidefx.com.
