I need to use the group SOP in order to have a point selection grow, following the edge connections. its works fine when you define a single point with the parameter Point Number ( /point ), but I need it to work from multiple points. It si said in the doc that the blossoming effect can occur from multiple points if they are already selected ( like in the pattern field I guess ). In this case, the point number field is disactivated, but the blossoming still occurs from only a single point. I cannot make it work from more than one. I guess I am doing something wrong, but I have no idea what…

Select points by edge connection from create page/ number
isn't a facility way, but it is exactly.
You can use some selecting tools, for example,
lasso picking, add or remove to selection.
If the model is NURBS, make sure the points are symmetrical.
