RGD object intersection

I attached rigid body geometry to particles in a DOP net.

When I start simulating however I have several objects intersecting from the start. They stick together, even after 200 frames of simulation… Is there a way to prevent intersection right from the start?

rgd usually tries not to intersect with other objects …

On the solver there is an option to resolve intersections.
Also I noticed that shapes like the ones on your image behave more properly if the collision options are set to edges not points.
this is not a science fair.

Try slowly upping the number of “Resolve Penetration” passes in your Rigid Body Solver DOP. That will at least get them to start breaking apart.

Thanks, “Resolve Penetration” does seem to do it, even if it takes long.
