hi guys I saw a comercial that psyop did for guinness , and its called guinness dot and they use houdini to make a blue fluid effect.
I am trying to make some thing like thay but I just dont understand the shading of the particles( I think is a spectral shader)….
if u guys know how to make it or at least have an overview of how to doit I would like to hear it….(and i know that this effects its hardcore stuff!!!!!!:-))
so pls help…

I guess apart from the particles a big part of the technique lies in the shader.
If you look on Miguel's website and analyze some of the R&D examples you migth reverse engineer some of it.
