I am a beginner on Houdini and learning…
Is there a way to stick particles on a surface? (I do not mean attractors) I mean, I would like the particles to be able to move along on a surface, so that my particles would eventually “form” the “model”. Is there a way to do it? If so, what ways can I do it?
Any info/help would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks.

Lots of ways, two in particular depending on what type of movement you are looking for.
You can turn your model into a collision object and have the particles stick on collision. You can use the shelf tools for that.
Or you can Creep the particles on the surface of your model. That's using a Creep sop.
