Hello,

I don't get Nurbs to render. A simple scene with a nurbs sphere won't render.
Using H 10.0.265.
Then I installed a version of H 9.5 and the problem stays…
Are there special parameters to render nurbs objects with Mantra?

If I render with Prman everything works…

thanks,

Thanks Arctor,

I'm working with an AMD Athlon XP 2400, maybe that"s the problem…
I will post a hip file.

Hello,

If I leave the “imperfect” option unchecked, the nurbs sphere does render…

Something to do with rational/non-rational surfaces then…. odd

I assume if you convert the one that doesn't render to polys all is well?

For the record, I'm running 10.0.266 on 64 bit linux and all variations of the NURBS sphere renders fine.

Cheers,

Hello Simon,

yes, if I convert to polys the render is fine.
What can be the cause of this…pc processor (AMD)?

Offhand, I'm don't see why but you can test by setting these environment variables to 1.
