Hi, i am quite new to houdini and even more new to Fur in houdini.
I followed some tutorials as well as the one Digital Tutorials Dynamics.

I want to create some realistic grass.( something i had in the picture )
i think i am missing some steps.

1. Create fur
2. Clump them for randomness
3. Add a width attribute
4. make it a wire and give it dynamics
5. UV
6. Add a material ( houdini default grass )

Not sure how i should go about texturing it.
please guide me of what i should do to make it look realistic.

i have attached my .hip file as well

Thanks.

Not sure I'd bother with using the fur tools. Here's an example that relies on the copy/stamp and using a material to get the grass blade shape. I just quickly created a texture in cops to test this.
