I had a look again at the Blowing Away An Image tutorial and noticed that transferring colors from the image with the Point SOP is unbelievably slow (20 minutes for a frame with just a few thousand particles and an 1260*265 bmp image). hmaster.exe also runs just at 2% in the Taskmanager. It didnt use to be that slow I remember…
Is that normal?
Edit: works fine in 9.5

but if i am working in a big sever project how can i copy past the direction of that image network, file, and then the adress on the hard drive?
or if i have several images on the image network, how do i know wich one to choose?

This must be a bug now in H10. An artist here (Gordon Chapman) has discovered the same thing recently in 10.0.315.
