Hi!

Is anyone here uses the new magic mouse? I read it has no support for middle clicking, and i just can't imagine a way to work in Houdini (and other apps) without it.

Mighty Mouse + Magic Prefs = the bomb for me

Magic Prefs already comes with a “Graphics, 3D, CAD” preset that sets it up nicely for Houdini.

With Magic Prefs installed and configured, this is the best mouse that I personally have used. I know that there are many on this list that still loathe track balls so if you are of that ilk, move on. For the rest that have grown to master the middle wheel and you use a Mac, the Magic Mouse track surface offers far more precision when zooming in and out in the viewport and networks for the Mac only. No more RMB zooming for accurate moves. Ahhh for those that re-configure Houdini to MMB zooming, again move on as you most certainly don't use a wheel on your mouse. lol!

There is no mechanical wheel for me to get frustrated with and customizing the various gestures is very useful.
There's at least one school like the old school!
