I am getting unpredictable behavior that is not the same as in Houdini. I can add points…..but Maya likes to append the point to the end of the curve instead inserting the points like in Houdini.

just curious if the ramp is working.
I use it to control the shape of a curve. Works great in Houdini…but FUBAR in Maya.

I struck up the courage to actually ask for help on the forums after some sleepless nights.
Usually the search gets me where I want to go and if something is hard I am usually doing it wrong.
I have a Rail Sop creating RailGroups which i want the Skin Sop to respect. There are several groups created and i want each group to only skin using the rails in that exclusive group.
I skin one at a time, but being Houdini, I am certain there is a procedural solution which I havent found out yet. The Rail Sop has a “rail by pairs” option which pretty much what I a trying to do with the Skin Sop.
