PDG/TOPs » Iterations option gone from HDA Processor node in Houdini 18

Hello!

Just wondering how you got the generic generator to work for you to replace the “iterations”? I'm missing something that allows the generator to pass through the upstream geo I think - the generator makes all my items, but there is no geo.

Hi,

We're getting this at our studio too. Looks like it may be connected to Houdini Engine? When we leave a Max session open too long, HServer seems to freeze up.

Houdini Engine for 3ds Max » Animations from 3DS Max to HDA

Hello!

I'm trying to figure out the rules for being able to pass through an animation to a HDA.

I'd love to be able to use the Vertex Animation Textures ROP through 3DS Max, allowing me to bake animation to textures without having to go thorough so many steps: exportFromMax->ImportIntoHoudini->Bake->importFBX back to max to then export with our custom exporter for game.

However from what I know so far, I can't just keyframe move a box and send that to my HDA? What form does my animation have to be in?
