Just wanted to use this opportunity to revisit basics of flip fluids. Finally learned how to animate attributes such as viscosity in solvers over particle's life.

Just been having a bad day. despite having a clear idea I just didn't manage to get it through and forgetting $ before F in output naming was the nail in the coffin today. I hope tomorrow gets better.

Houdini Indie and Apprentice » Vellum baloon lift force

Hi, I've been playing around with vellum workflow and when I tried to make a simple animation of few balloons being attached to the ground by a string I ran into one issue.
1. Easy way to apply lift force was simply setting gravity force in vellum solver to positive, but I can't find a way to apply separate force to the string itself (I want the string to have weight pulling down opposed to balloon lift force).
I would really appreciate some help and tips for more realistic looking simulation, tank you all in advance!

Houdini Indie and Apprentice » Unable to select points, edges and polygons

Hi,
Lately I have been having multiple issues on houdini while working on my mac and recently I've been unable to select specific edges, points or polygons on mesh. When I try dragging over everything it selects only random parts and ignores others (see attached image as an example). It's really strange, my drivers are updated and I'm not sure what to do about it.
Some other more minor issues include not being able to enlarge the window full screen on second monitor, camera controls being extremely wonky and moving too fast in random directions as well as right click menus not showing all options and.
