Hi there!
Well i am testing the distributed simulations on H15 under Ubuntu 14 just for test, server and client are running in the same machine, and…..everything works fine, except the hqueue client stop at 0% and seems like is running but nothing happen, someone know what is happen?, here some screencaptures.

it should be possible to render huge amount of particles but i think you will struggle with your ram.

have you seen this video?
https://vimeo.com/142517418 [vimeo.com]

with 64gm ram i don't know how many particles you can render with it…. can't help there sorry….

Are you working under Windows?

check your merge node into DOPS in your whitewater sim node, you have connected your collisions after your solver and probably the affector relationship is “Left input affect right inputs”.

Tapsin .
Finally!
a solver+attribtransfer+ray node and of course the sim and the output geometry…
evaluate input geometry every frame and… bam!! magic! deforms the output
thank you

Sounds very interesting, could you share an example of your hip?
Appreciate!
Cheers

PradeepBarua
Can DOPs continue with a simulation from .bgeo files?

Absolutely not but I don't know what you exactly mean by that.

Hi Pradeep, resume simulation from bgeo sequence is possible, Bgeo sequence store the necessary fields to resume.

I did something similar before, here is the test: https://vimeo.com/106904172 [vimeo.com]

To do this effect i create 2 differents fields based on vdb tools, one of them was a custom field to keep the particles inside the geoemtry object and the other one a gradient to attract the flip particles to the object.
Cheers.

hi eetu, thank you so much for your quickly reply so thats is not that i am looking for, really the flat tank is move following an object but is not moving changing the shape, so i am looking for a way to fill a wave geometry shape that is animated and deformated loaded by alembic, so will be nice that way, fill with flip particles my deformed geometry and after that add interaction with collisions, i tried to do something similar and flip follow particles but adding gravity my particles falling down.

Hi guys, i really i need help with a shot that i am doing, so i need create a flip simulation based in a wave geometry done in maya, the wave have to do exactly that the maya geometry but with flip sim.
I tried to create a flip emission from the geometry and follow the wave geometry perfectly but is emmitting fluid constatly and is wrong, someone know a way to do it?
or maybe someone know a way to emit fluid from the wave geometry keeping the shape and completly dynamic sim?
thank u guys
