ndicksonThank you for the reply. So how should I troubleshoot it? I cannot pinpoint any driver issues as everything else seems to work just fine. Should I uninstall and reinstall Houdini?
This is a bit of a shot in the dark, but “ANOMALY: meaningless REX prefix used” seems to suggest that some software on your system might be corrupt, possibly a driver, or maybe your copy of Houdini License Administrator or libraries it's using. Regular programs don't usually have code at such high addresses, so it's more likely to be a driver, but it could be a regular program calling into the system at the wrong addresses due to corruption of some sort.
Also, I'm getting the same error on Online License Service as well, when I try to obtain the license manually from http://license.sidefx.com/get_nc_license2.php [license.sidefx.com]
