Of course.
Here is a screenshot of the HQueue settings in the OUT context.
And also the scene file.
Thank you for having a look!
Cheers.

Hi guys,
I'm trying to render a scene via HQueue, using Arnold.
The submission process works fine but the render fails to start.
Here is the log from HQueue.
Could someone have a look at this, please? I've posted this on the HTOA forum, but no answer yet, so maybe it's a Houdini issue??
Thank you very much!
Alain

Houdini Indie and Apprentice » Clipping instances in for loop
- Tomahawk-573

Hello everyone.
I'm working on a procedural piece of furniture. I want to instance a weaving pattern on some panels using for each primitive.
For this, I tiled a mesh so that it overlaps each panel. This works well, however now I want to clip the instanced mesh to each panel...
How should I set my "clip" node in the for loop so that the clipping happens per panel? I cannot use boolean as this is an instanced mesh... Any suggestion?
Thank you very much.

Just to update this post with the solution, in case someone needs it...
It was actually an Arnold error.
The install was not totally correct (ENV & PATH). So that works now. The only thing that is not supported by Arnold, is the camera_switcher node.

Hello guys,
I'm trying to drive the size of my object (width) with a CSV file but get this error message when cooking the node...
Actually, I just tried in H19 and it works. Would it be possible to get it working in H18.5.462 or any 18.5.### ? I'm using Vray and they don't have a version out for H19 at the moment...
Your help would be much appreciated...
Thank you!
Alain

Thank you @tpetrick! This looks like an ARNOLD error... I'll check it out with them. All works fine if I render a still frame.

Thank you for having a look, Rob!
So I tried again & this time with MANTRA. And amazing, it works!!! I actually had a little error in the expression & got it right...
However, when I do exactely the same with ARNOLD, The RopFetch, cooks but fails... And there are no error messages. See screenshot.
I'll upload the file in Mantra with the CSV, but maybe it's an ARNOLD error?
Cheers,
Alain

Hello guys, I'm trying to use PDG.
I've got a simple setup driven by a CSV file (box changing width+height+color).
That works fine until I want to render...
The cameras are on a switcher node at obj level...
However I get an error each time with the ROP fetch...
Anyone knows what I've done wrong ?
I tried to copy the example that KYLE SOWRY kindly showed on his talk :PDG as a PATH from DATABASE to RENDER on Houdini HIVE Worldwide in 2020 but no luck...
In the zip, there is the hip file + csv file.
Thank you for your help!
