Thanks for your reply, and sorry for the dumm question ( I'm quite new i nUnity world ) but, the GameObject field is filled with the C# script itself ? I tried to drag and drop it, that but with no luck …

Unfortunately, as far as I know there is no right click menu on the PythonModule. I could add something in the right click menu of the node itself tho, I'll think about it

Hey Guys,
I wanted to share here with you a small script I've done to have a support of external editors to edit your expressions and code with live updates.
It works with a system or file watcher, that means it doesn't freeze Houdini and you don't need to close your editor to see you updates It's available by a simple right-click on a parameter => expression => External Expression Editor ( you can set a hotkey ).
It works with VEX and Python expressions but also regular HScript expressions ( but with no completion ). It works very well with Visual Studio Code as it has a nice VEX and Python plugins, but it could work with sublime text, notepad ++ etc.
( I haven't tested all the IDE out there so if you find a bug with one of them, feel free to send an email to contact@cgtoolbox.com ).

I'm working on a tool using Houdini Engine and PySide in Maya, and when I launch the tool, I have this error:

When I launch maya without Houdini engine loaded, it works fine ( even if I load it afterward ), it seems that there is a problem between dlls used by PySide in Houdini and PySide in Maya, is there a way to force Houdini Engine to not load PySide dlls when it is loaded in Maya ??

Hi all,
I use a french keyboard and the alt gr key doesn't work any more, I can't type } etc… It was all fine using Houdini 13 !!
Anyone has this issue too ? It's so annoying

Hello,
I have, since the beginning of my learing of houdini apprentice, a problem with the range of the slider in a param.
For instance, I have a param set to 1, and the slider, by default is set like this : 0 to 1. If I type a value like 5 it's ok, but if y try to change the value with the slider ( 4.99 - 4.90 etc. ) from my new value typed before, that doesn't work ! The param jump immédiatly to 1 ( the default value ? ).
It is a little bit annoying .
Someone could help me plz ? How I can change the range of a slider ??
