Hello i have a problem with crypto matte with karma/nuke
In houdini on karma node in stage in render var i use crypto object, and beauty pass on c.
In nuke i can have the c pass with a shuffle node. But not the crypto object, i don't understand how to get crypto object in nuke
If someone can show me i put an exr file
in this vidéo i show the problem with crypto mate if i select them nothing appen

Hello magicians. Here I have a scene with a glass object and inside my animation. The problem is the following, no matter how thick the glass is with karma I always have a big deformation. Whereas with mantra not. And so it's annoying for my rendering.
How do I do so that under karma the glass reacts the same way as under mantra ?
is more a problem with how karma see the glass like an object full of glass
to a problem on ior

i'have another solution is to make this one object by one object
so 13 emmiter and 13 flip fluid ...

I'm looking for a good way to cut a boat in two parts as on the picture.
All the tutorials I find are more for buildings or a rock effect but it's not really this rendering that I want.
I wanted to buy the applied houdini but I'm not sure if they match.
Do you have an idea or a good tutorial?

Hello!
I'm trying to reproduce the landing of the porco rosso seaplane at sea.
But here are some things that I don't understand, as you can see in the video

I have a geo node with my 3d object in several parts, it's a rather heavy stl file so I reduced the number of polygons and I put aside the propeller, I would like the propeller to turn fast enough but I don't know the right expression.
Then with a transform node I animated my plane, the problem is that it doesn't work with the sim. But if I animate the geo node yes but I can't center my pivot with the $CEX expression.
Can you explain me what I did wrong?.
Then I wanted to know if it wouldn't be better to do the simulation with a vdb of my plane ?
and for the final I would like to make the engine smoke and come out of the flames and also integrate it in a bigger ocean. how to do that ?
