try setting more precision of UVS in mesh import(dont remember exact name of this option) and then restart unreal

Hey so Im have to blend breaking glass, with glass hovering in space, to switch between those two effects. breaking glass I made with bullet solver, but hovering glass pieces I made with MOPS. They worked fine separatly but they didnt blend well in Unity. Either I animated first frame, and it was different then last frame of simulation, or I didnt animated first frame and some parts have had really strong glossy reflection(its supposed to be glass, so it have high smoothness material)
So I merged them into one VAT texture by atrib copy SOP (copying position) and later mops Pivot Sop with center Pivot mode(its temporaly stable) everything works fine in Houdini. In unity first time i play it on VFX (I use animation curves to drive frame display) and if I have interpolation on, the interpolation goes to top right corner of the simulation. Second simulation is fine
Does anyone know a solution?

SD says "unable to retrive scene" fbxs dont work regardless of attributes and groups, they work in blender and reimported to houdini. it doesnt matter if i export using rop or file/export option.

im looking to justify uvs to the axis. Move whole islands without deforming,scaling or rotating. similar to match size. I need a float that is stored in vertices, that is the same for each vertex of uv island. this attribute would stores distance of rightmost vertex to uv.x=0 . i.e value of uv.x of vertex with highest value of uv.x, so i can adjust uvs based on this attribute and later make them all align to the axis. Reason is im trying to make random trimsheet generator and i dont like they are offset in x axis

how should i create lightmap uvs for my assets? can i create uv2 from uv without destroying uv. Or should i export output of hda to unity and use unity to create lightmaps. in which case how do i export it as a model, not just mesh. If i export as a model that contains mesh there is model import menu that allows me to create lightmaps uv. by default hda exports only mesh which doesnt have this option.
I dont want to use fbx rop, because i want to be able to automatically export and update many meshes and colliders every time i change my asset. since i use it to create models specificaly tailored to my level geometry

the file i am using comes from tutorial https://www.sidefx.com/tutorials/sci-fi-level-builder/ [www.sidefx.com] and its already been build by using old curve. So unfortunatelly is a different bug

Hi Im evaluating Houdini workflow for my company, im going trough the Sci Fi Level Builder tutorial, while ive been testing the HDA attached to the project files, I noticed that in unity 2021 the curve tool wasnt working. So i updated my unity to 2022 and I exposed the parameter again. It worked, but during my short presentation the houdini engine curve menu in unity disparead.
I restarted my unity and it wasnt working again. so i restarted my pc but that didnt help either. Next time i opened steam firsts, and launched pipe session, after i opened unity before i clicked on hda in my scene i tried to connect to pipe session, but error apearedit tells me to check if pipe session name is valid. but i dont know what it compare it to. Houdini is installed in specified location.
To check if this HDA is somehow corrupted i've opened houdini engine tools from houdini engine menu, and selected curve instancer- create tool. this didnt created curve either
The Green curve is still visible in my Level_Builder_Tutorial_File_1_2 but i cant see the menu that allows me to add, or edit points on the curve
Ive looked on the forum and Ive found two solutions. one is to upgrade unity which i did, the other one is to use old curve node. Which I enabled in Shelf Tools and Tab Menu and select >Show All Operators. but im not sure which node to select
Can you please help to achieve stable usage of the curve menu option? Should I change my unity version and if so to which version, connect differently with pipe sesssion(if so-how?) or use different curve node(if so, which one?)
