I AM TRY SO HARD TO GET SUBSTANCE PLUGIN WORK IN HOUDINI BUT NO LUCK. I TRY APPRENTICE 16.5 AND 17. ANYONE HAVE INSIGHT ON HOW THIS CAN WORK?

thanks for responding reelinspirations. I found out that using the enumerate node before a loop gives them a unique ID that remedies the problem.

nter in your case is 0. The normalize function helps you to have a unit vector in case you circle has radius different than 1.
Thank you so much for the response Andr. That work perfectly. I also just tried @N = @P; and that works as well. What exactly is it doing? The normals of the object are being set to the point dir?

Hello Friends,
I am interested in generating a new mesh every frame and having random attributes change the mesh every loop. I am using a for loop to copy to points and the attributes don't seem to change every iteration. I believe I may be using this incorrectly.
The last image shows how I am scattering the stones around.

Hello friends,
I am curious how to change the angle of the normals on a circle. I am applying noise to them and want the noise to push outward along the normal direction. If you look at my image this works but the normals are facing inward. I am also wondering why it work. I do not understand.

Hi Houdini Friends. I was meaning to test some ideas in substance painter and I just needed a UVed box. I thought I would trying and to UV and export from Houdini. I cannot seem to find a way to export a model from houdini apprentice. Is it a locked feature?
