Hi,
I actually did that too. I couldn’t find any difference.
Will try to unlock the node and take a dive inside see if I could disable or override the emission.

Hello,
I am tying to disable bubble emission on whitewater sim. No success at achieving that so far.
Attached is a screen capture of my Whitewater Solver settings.
I have Set the aging rates to 0 on the bubbles
Also checked add state attributes to split the splashes from the foam.
However, Bubbles in the whitewater import node still appear.

Technical Discussion » Houdini 16 Guided Ocean Layer-Ocean Extended Displacement Texture, Redshift Rendering

zhijiewangCould you please share the scene?
Loved John Lynch's Masterclass video on the new ocean tools in Houdini 16.
Rendered in Redshift using the Small and Large Ocean Tools, the displacement texture backed through the “oceanevaluate”, worked fine for the both.
But for the EXTENDED, extruded ocean using the new Guided Ocean Layer Tool, the displacement texture showed me an issue, a black irritating “surface” crossing the entire ocean. It's rendered with Redshift, using the same method. See, a photo attached. Try to get rid of it. Please help!
Thanks.
I could not figure out how to render properly in redshift as well.

Unless you are using exocortex crate plugin for maya that would read the particles and their attributes such as velocity.
I have used it for a sand R&D Houdini ==> Maya. Hence the file size is HUUUUGEEEEE.
