Thanks, jason! It works. I created a thicker proxy object, convert it into VDB volume, and use it as proxy volume in DOP.
However, I have a new problem now, how to parent the proxy object to my cup, so the proxy object can move with the cup? I used the Shelf Tool “Parent”, but it failed.

Hi,
I have a container and want to fill it with FLIP. I use VDB for collision because it's fast. But, after I set up the scene, my container always leaks fluid, anything wrong with my VDB collision setup or anything wrong with my container topology?
Thanks!

unfortunately, no…
it seems python also don't have such a built-in function.
my solution is floor(9.123456*(10**2))/(10**2), i hope someone can offer a better solution

Hi, KiLa, I think the problem is your fluid is a bit higher than your container, so the fluid will spill in the beginning of the simulation.
I've translated the fluid a bit lower than the container, is this what your want?

the introduction says “Whether you render particles with the default instance spheres or choose to use the ”Render as Points“ option on the object, you are calling two different Mantra Render Procedurals internally: Point Instancing or Point Rendering. This lesson will go over Mantra Procedurals: Delayed Load, Fur Procedural, Point Instance, Point Rendering, and VEX Volume.”
but the video forgot to talk about Fur Procedural and VEX Volume

maybe it's a problem of the OpenGL 3D viewport. Please try changing the setting: Edit->Preferences->3D Viewports->Scene Renderer->H11 or GL1.2

the “Scale Time” parameter in the “AutoDopNetwork” can slow down the Simulation. Or you can save the simulation as .bgeo files and use “Time Warp” node in SOP.

I don't think tutorials should be so updated. You can go to http://www.papicrunch.net/GC-houdb/?collec=0&model=list. [papicrunch.net] And learn by keep learning. Recently, I saw a tutorial “Rigid Body Dynamics DVD” by Craig Zerouni using maybe Houdini 8.x. And I found astonish that the RBD notes and their parameters changed so little since then. I like Houdini because there are full of building blocks of Computer Graphics, even when I need other tools, I found I can pick up some of them quite fast
